Welcome! My name is Jacob, and I’m the guy behind The Model Builder. I’ve been building and painting models since I was a kid, back in 2003. It started as a fun hobby I shared with my brother and cousin, but during the 2020 lockdown, I rediscovered my passion for this creative outlet.

I decided to take my painting seriously and really master my craft. Over the years, I’ve experimented with countless paints, techniques, and subjects. From sci-fi and fantasy miniatures to historical figures, I’ve had the pleasure of bringing countless models to life.
